About Us

Mission

  • to be a familiar presence in Poole, encouraging a peaceful yet vibrant atmosphere,  listening and responding to people's needs
  • to work with others to ensure the basic needs of food, shelter and friends are available to every individual we meet
  • to connect and maintain links between the homeless, vulnerable and youth with local people and organisations to help them reach their potential for a purposeful, well balanced life

Vision

  • a community where each person is accepted and cared for whatever their situation, race or religion
  • where skills building, life skills and leisure activities are routine and for everyone to be able to make the most of their lives
  • to have a community united in God's love where everyone is valued and has hope for a better future

People are our passion

  • we are a team of volunteers from local churches, walking around Poole town centre and Ashley Road, Parkstone, meeting and talking with people
  • we talk with anyone, visitors, tourists, young and old
  • we give out what we can when we can to whoever needs it: food, drinks, information on local resources as well as friendly chats and  advice if needed

What we are doing in Poole

What we are doing in Poole

What we are doing in Poole

Every individual matters more to God than we can possible understand or imagine, so we are driven by Jesus' compassion for us to offer a kind word or action to others, so that someone may begin to understand who Christ is and what He came to earth for

We build relationships so that others might become part of the community, helping themselves and their neighbours to lead a purposeful life

Our patrols are in Poole Town Centre every Saturday afternoon and Ashley Road, Parkstone, one afternoon mid week
